Physicians / Mental Health Nurse Practitioners
Physicians and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners provide comprehensive psychiatric and medical oversight for residents. They conduct thorough evaluations, diagnose mental health and co-occurring conditions, and prescribe evidence-based treatments tailored to each child’s individualized treatment plan. Responsibilities include ongoing medication management, monitoring treatment effectiveness, coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team, and engaging families in treatment planning as appropriate. Providers ensure all care aligns with best practice standards and regulatory requirements.
Licensed Therapists
Licensed Therapists develop and implement individualized, trauma-informed treatment plans based on each resident’s diagnosis, clinical presentation, and psychosocial history. They facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based and developmentally appropriate interventions. Clinicians collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team to conduct ongoing assessments, adjust treatment goals, and ensure continuity of care. Therapeutic modalities may include cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) skills, experiential therapies, mindfulness-based practices, and other targeted interventions designed to support emotional regulation, coping skills development, and long-term stability.
Social Workers / Case Managers
Social Workers and Case Managers coordinate comprehensive services to support each resident’s treatment and discharge planning process. Responsibilities include arranging medical, psychological, and educational assessments; coordinating with school districts to ensure appropriate educational services; and facilitating communication between families, guardians, community agencies, and external providers. They organize and participate in court hearings, agency staffing meetings, and family team meetings as required. Case Managers also assist with discharge planning, aftercare coordination, and linkage to community-based resources to promote successful reintegration.
Registered Nurses
Registered Nurses ensure the physical health and safety of residents. They conduct health assessments, manage and administer medications in accordance with physician orders, monitor for side effects, and maintain accurate medical documentation. Nurses serve as a liaison between medical providers and the interdisciplinary treatment team, communicating changes in residents’ medical or behavioral status. They also provide health education to residents and staff, support crisis intervention when needed, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards of care.
